  • Implant however, is not an option for everyone, as it requires surgery, patient should be in good health and further patients must have an adequate bone to support implant. So missing teeth can be replaced with naturally looking stronger materials with the latest advances in technology. Go ahead chew healthy and be healthy!

What are Implants?

Dental Implant is performed using a screw made of Titanium. Surface of screw is roughened so it can grip well in jaw bone. Implant dentist drill hole in jaw bone where Titanium screw is fitted. Drilling procedure is done in several steps as per requirement of implant. During drilling lot of heat is generated and saline is sprayed to bring temperature down. Temperature should be ideally less than forty seven degree Celsius.

Gum is applied over the area and time is given to get it healed and integrated in jaw bone. In second procedure implant dentist places temporary crown on implant. And after some time when gums grows as per requirement final crowns are placed.

Dental Implant is lengthy procedure and takes different time case to case. After completion of treatment patient can chew normally and strength of his / her oral structure is increased.

The implant procedure is the same whether one or all teeth are missing. In this example, there is only one missing lower tooth. For the purpose of demonstration we will assume the patient is healthy and is a candidate for this procedure.
